What is considered a terminal prognosis?

  • Updated

We would define a terminal illness as the following:

The opinion of your Doctor or Consultant that your medical condition cannot be cured or adequately treated, and your life expectancy has been shortened.

If you are unsure if your condition is terminal or not, please contact your Doctor or Consultant.

Please note that we are unable to cover you if your prognosis is less than 6 months from the return date of your trip.
