What medical conditions do I need to declare for Travel Insurance?

  • Updated

It’s important that you declare all your conditions that fall within our medical warranty:

Have you or anyone else insured on this policy:
1) Taken any prescribed medication or required medical treatment within the last two years?
2) Been a registered in or out-patient at a hospital, clinic or GP surgery in the last two years?
3) Been placed on a waiting list that could cause you to cancel or curtail your trip?
4) Been advised of a terminal illness?

We will need to know the name of the medical condition and the number of medications you take for this.

We do not need to know the name of the procedure or the names of the medications you take.

This screening process used by Travel Insurance companies will allow us to determine how your medical conditions might affect the likelihood of you making a claim or the cost of treatment when you are on holiday.
