Can I get a refund on my Policy?

  • Updated

You may be able to get a refund if you cancel your policy. What you get back depends on when you cancel and whether you have a single trip or annual multi-trip policy.

Cooling-off period (first 14 days):

  • You have a 14-day cooling-off period from when you receive your documents.
  • If you haven’t travelled and haven’t made a claim, you can ask for a full refund within this period.

Cancelling after the cooling-off period:

  • Single trip policies: If you haven’t travelled and you’re not claiming, you can get 50% of the total premium paid. If the amount due is less than £25, won't recieve a refund.
  • Annual multi-trip policies: If you haven’t made a claim (even if it wasn’t successful) and you confirm there’s no claim pending, you can get 5% of the total premium paid for each full calendar month remaining (from the cancellation date). If the amount due is less than £25, you won't get a refund.

When you won’t get a refund:

  • If you’ve travelled on a single trip policy or intend to claim.
  • If you’ve made a claim on a single trip or annual multi-trip policy (whether successful or not).

How to cancel:

  • To cancel your Policy, please complete the Cancellation Form or contact us from our Web Chat
