“Fit to travel” means that, considering your general state of health and any pre-existing medical conditions, you (and your medical practitioner, if consulted) would reasonably expect you to be well enough to complete your trip without needing medical assistance or treatment.
If you are not fit to travel, you will not be covered for any medical condition or disability, so speak to a medical practitioner and contact AllClear before you travel if your health or medication has changed.
Consider the following when thinking about if you're fit to travel:
- Where you’re going
- How long you’ll be there
- Any sporting or adventure activities you plan to do
- The method of travel you will use
