Is there an admin fee if I make an amendment to my policy?

  • Updated

If you ask us to make a change after the first 14 days, a £15 administration fee may apply.

What counts as an amendment?

An amendment is any change you ask us to make to your policy details or documents. For example:

  • updating medical conditions
  • changing your destination or region of travel
  • adding/removing optional upgrades
  • changing travel dates (where allowed)

When the admin fee may apply:

  • During the 14-day cooling-off period: there’s no admin fee for changes.
  • After 14 days: a £15 admin fee will apply when you request an amendment (mentioned above).

Could the price change as well?

Depending on what you change, your premium may change too (for example, if the risk or cover level changes).

What you’ll be told before anything is changed:

Before we update your policy, we’ll confirm:

  • whether the £15 administration fee applies, and
  • whether there’s any additional premium to pay (or any change to your price)
