Do my passport details need to match my Policy documents?

  • Updated

It’s best to make sure the details on your policy documents are correct, and to tell us if anything is wrong before you travel.

What you should know

  • What the policy says: You must check your policy documents, and if any information is incorrect you should contact us.
  • Why it matters: If you need help during your trip, you may be asked for your name, policy number and contact details.
  • Claims paperwork: If you make a claim, you may be asked for your policy documents and policy schedule (along with other evidence).

If it depends

  • If your passport name has changed: Speak to an adviser so we can confirm what you need to do before you travel.
