Which countries will accept GHIC?

Please check GOV.UK for the latest information on where your GHIC/EHIC is valid. 

What we can confirm:

  • A GHIC (or a valid UK-issued EHIC) is used to benefit from reciprocal health agreements when travelling in the European Union, and it can also apply in Switzerland where the card is valid. 
  • If you want a complete list of countries, GOV.UK is the best place to check.
