Do I need to declare any medical conditions I had over two years ago?

  • Updated

Yes, you need to declare a medical condition that was diagnosed over two years ago If the following applies:

  • Taken any prescribed medication
  • Received medical treatment or advice at a hospital, clinic, GP surgery, or via remote consultation
  • Received or been offered palliative care

If none of the above applies:

The policy’s disclosure requirements are framed around what’s happened in the last two years, so if you’ve had no medication, treatment, or medical advice for that condition in that period, it may not fall under those requirements.

However, you must take reasonable care to answer all medical screening questions fully and accurately.
