What you should know

When to call: If you have a medical emergency.

Important: If you’re admitted to hospital, or your outpatient treatment is likely to cost more than £350, call as soon as possible.

Who you’ll speak to: The emergency assistance team (Zurich Assist) can arrange medical help based on your needs.

Have ready: Your name, policy number and contact details.

If it’s not an emergency: You can usually pay for simple outpatient treatment locally and claim when you return (keep receipts/invoices).
