What you should know
When to call:
If you have a medical emergency whilst abroad.
Important:
If you’re admitted to hospital, or your outpatient treatment is likely to cost more than £350, call as soon as possible.
Who you’ll speak to:
The emergency assistance team (Zurich Assist) can arrange medical help based on your needs.
Have ready:
Your name, policy number and contact details.
If it’s not an emergency: You can usually pay for simple outpatient treatment locally and claim when you return (keep receipts/invoices).
For non-emergency claims:
To discuss an existing claim, our claims handler Gallagher Bassett, can be contacted on 0800 011 3135 (Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5:30 pm, excluding bank holidays).
