If you are travelling on a Single Trip Policy you can call our Customer Service Team who will be able to look at extending your Policy.
If you are travelling on an Annual Multi-trip Policy and you have already been on your trip for 45 days, you can call our Customer Service Team to add on the extended stay optional upgrade. This will give you an additional 5 or 10 days to travel. However, for any Annual Multi-Trip (AMT) policy purchased from 6 August 2025 the following applies:
- If you wish to extend your trip, you can choose to increase the number of days covered by your Policy to either 50 or 55 days by paying an additional premium. However, this option is not available if you are aged 71+ and travelling to Mexico, Canada, the USA or the Caribbean.
- Regardless of traveller age, total days covered will be limited to 183 total travel days within the policy term
- Where a traveller is aged 71 or over, trips to the Mexico, Canada, the USA or the Caribbean will be restricted to a maximum of 35 days per trip
