Can you cover me if my condition is not yet diagnosed?

  • Updated

You can still buy an AllClear policy, but any claim connected to a condition that hasn’t yet been diagnosed won’t be covered.

This can include:

  • Cancelling your trip because of symptoms or issues linked to the undiagnosed condition.
  • Cutting your trip short if the condition worsens while you’re away.
  • Any medical emergency expenses connected to that condition.
  • Home help or nanny costs after repatriation (where included in your policy) if they relate to the undiagnosed condition.

If you receive a diagnosis before you travel, you must let us know.

You will still be covered for other, unrelated medical issues and non-medical events, as long as they have been declared and meet the terms of your policy.

If your health changes, you develop new symptoms or you are referred for tests or investigations before you travel, you must let us know so we can review your cover.
