Changes you can request
You can ask us about changing:
- Medical conditions or medication
- Trip dates
- Your destination or geographical region
- Personal or contact details
- Travellers named on the policy
- Optional extras
- Incorrect information shown on your policy documents
Some changes may not be available after your trip has started.
Updating medical information
Tell us as soon as possible if anyone insured under the policy:
- Develops a new medical condition
- Experiences a change to an existing medical condition
- Has a change to their medication
You should contact us before:
- Booking or starting your journey
- Paying the balance of your trip
- Paying any further instalments towards your trip
A change in health may affect your premium or cover.
Will there be a cost?
The cost will depend on the change you request. A change may result in:
- An additional premium
- A refund
- Another applicable charge
If you are outside the 14-day cooling-off period, a £15 administration fee may apply.
Customer Services can confirm the total cost before making the change.
How to request a change
- Check your policy documents and identify what needs to be updated.
- Have the correct information ready.
- Contact Customer Services.
- Ask the adviser to confirm whether the change can be made and whether it will affect your premium or cover.
