Loss and hire of golf equipment
Golf equipment cover can apply if your own or hired golf equipment is lost, stolen or damaged during your trip.
For your own golf equipment, the claim is based on repair or replacement value after deductions for wear, tear and depreciation.
AllClear may apply an extra 10% reduction to an item valued over £100 if you cannot prove ownership or provide proof of purchase when asked. This is after the standard reductions for age, wear and tear, and loss of value.
Hire of golf equipment can apply where you reasonably need to hire replacement golf equipment because your own golf equipment is accidentally lost, stolen or damaged during the period of insurance.
Loss of green fees
Loss of green fees can apply if you do not cut your trip short, but you cannot play golf or use the golf facilities because of a serious injury or illness during the trip.
You need:

- Confirmation that no refund is available for the unused green fees.
- Confirmation from Zurich Assist that the claim is medically necessary.
- A medical certificate from the attending medical practitioner abroad.
