You must disclose any medical conditions from the last two years for which you've taken prescribed medication, received treatment or advice, or been offered palliative care. Also declare if you're on a waiting list for tests or treatment affecting travel, or have a terminal illness. When declaring, specify diagnosed conditions clearly; vague symptoms or events are insufficient. If unsure of the diagnosis, consult a medical professional before screening.
You need to tell us about any medical condition in the last two years, for which you have:
- taken prescribed medication, or
- had medical treatment or medical advice at a hospital, clinic, GP surgery or via remote consultation
- or received/ been offered palliative care;
You also need to tell us if you:
- are on a waiting list for tests, treatment or a consultation that could affect your ability to travel, or
- have been told you have a terminal illness.
How to declare conditions:
- When you are completing medical screening, please declare the specific diagnosed medical condition(s).
- An event, episode, symptom or outcome can be unclear on their own and will not be specific enough for screening.
- If you have been told there are multiple underlying conditions, you should declare each diagnosed condition.
Remember: If you are not sure what the diagnosis or underlying cause is, your must speak to a medical professional (for example, your GP) to confirm what the diagnosis or cause is, then declare that when screening.
