A symptom or condition is considered undiagnosed when its cause is unknown and you are receiving tests, treatment, investigations, or ongoing monitoring.
You must tell us about:
- Any new symptoms, illnesses, or injuries
- Any changes to your health
We may still be able to provide a quote that includes your diagnosed medical conditions. However, the policy will not cover claims relating to an undiagnosed symptom or condition.
If you have symptoms or conditions that you have not yet discussed with a GP or other medical practitioner, we will require confirmation that you are fit to travel.
This information is for general guidance only and does not constitute medical advice.
What to do if you have symptoms, investigations, or a change in health
You must tell us and consult your medical practitioner if you, or anyone insured on the policy:
- Develops a new condition
- Experiences a change to an existing medical condition
- Has new, ongoing, unexplained, or worsening symptoms
- Has medication changed or amended
- Is receiving tests or treatment, or is undergoing ongoing investigations
- Has been placed on a waiting list that could cause them to cancel or cut short their trip
- Is unsure whether symptoms or a medical concern need to be declared
Eligibility criteria, policy terms, and exclusions apply.
