Natural disaster cover is not included as standard.
They’re only covered if you add Natural Disaster cover (Section 12) as an optional upgrade.
This is available with Gold, Gold Plus and Platinum, and it isn’t available with Silver policies.
- How to get Natural Disaster cover: Add the optional upgrade and make sure it appears on your policy schedule.
- When Natural Disaster cover applies: In an event that happens after you buy the insurance, so buying the policy after a disaster has already happened won’t add Section 12 cover for that existing event.
- Silver policy: Natural Disaster cover isn’t available on Silver policies.
