If you add the Travelling Companion upgrade, it covers your travelling companion’s costs to cancel their trip or come home early when you have to cancel because of a pre-existing medical condition that you told us about and we agreed to cover. This only applies if your companion is insured with a different travel insurer, as long as you've added this to your policy.
Which policies it’s available on
- Gold / Gold Plus / Platinum: Available (as an optional upgrade).
- Silver: Not available.
