Making a claim

  • Updated
  1. Start with your policy schedule: This lists the pre-existing medical conditions you’re covered for (and other key details).
  2. Find the right section: Use the contents page to locate the section that best matches what happened.
  3. Check the green and red headings from the policy wording: “You are covered” is highlighted in green, and “You are not covered” is highlighted in red (with conditions highlighted in orange).
  4. Remember the policy-wide rules: The wording explains that general conditions and exclusions apply to all sections, and anything not specifically stated as covered is excluded.
  5. If you have Silver: Read the “What you need to know” box early on, as Silver cover is more limited than standard travel insurance.
