What is Zero Excess?

  • Updated

Zero Excess is an optional paid upgrade that removes the excess you’d normally pay on a claim — with some important exceptions.

What you need to know

  • What it does: It removes excesses across your policy.
  • What it doesn’t remove: An excess can still apply to medical claims linked to amateur sporting & adventure activities or winter sports activities.
  • When it needs to be chosen: It’s selected when you buy the policy. If it’s added after the policy has started, it won’t apply to incidents that have already happened (or that you already know are likely to lead to a claim).
  • How to check you have it: If it’s included, it will show on your policy schedule.
