  13. Claims caused by not getting the required passport, visa or travel documents.
What you need to do if you cancel

If you know your trip will be cancelled, tell the carrier, holiday company, travel agent or accommodation provider immediately.

This helps minimise the cancellation charges. If you do not tell them as soon as you know you need to cancel,

AllClear will only consider the cancellation charges that were due when you first knew you had to cancel.
You should keep:
  • Written confirmation from the travel provider.
  • A cancellation invoice.
  • Unused travel tickets, where available.
  • Medical certificates, where cancellation is for a medical reason.
  • A claim may be rejected if the required cancellation documents are not provided.
